Ha, except I'm not as serious.

Like I said, I'm fine with Gomez...but I guess I just like to caution overreacting about stuff in the playoffs.

On one hand, it is a desperate moment and you have to make bold decisions.

On the other hand, people overrate a few small things they see in one playoff series. I'm fine with either because Gomez is valuable, but I'd like to have 4 or 5 Morgan at bats in front of Braun.

We're basically going to forfeit a few innings with Yuni, LuCroy, Gomez, and Yovani. Morgan can keep the lineup rolling with Hairston down at the 6 spot or whatever.

EDIT: Also, how about the fact that it is normally advantage: hitter in round 2 against a pitcher? Maybe Nyjer has adjustments ready.

Guy put up a .790 OPS during the regular season. Let's not bench him because a guy had a nice showing against a junkballer is all I'm saying.

Go with Gomez for the defense, but it just feels really reactionary to throw Morgan aside because he went 1 for 11. Normally, the guy is tremendous in the spotlight.

I'd rather have Hairston batting in front of Braun than Morgan. Much better OPS post-all-star break, and lately he's been hitting the ball well. So now if we're talking about Morgan vs Gomez, both at the bottom of the lineup, I go with the elite defense.

But whatever. Yo, Braun and Fielder decide who wins tomorrow in all likelihood.

That's fine.

I also think somebody like Weeks is key. We may need one more guy to step up, and Weeks really hasn't been. Been painful for his biggest fan (me).

BTW, my friend told me where we're staying tomorrow. I guess it's nice and has a shuttle to and from the game. That probably means nothing but I guess they're connected to a sports bar, or there's one next to it...I don't know. But I'll let you guys know and if any of you kids are around I'll be buying lots of drinks if the Brewers win. If they lose I'll also be buying drinks, I'll just be really bitter and pissed off and looking to hate **** the first thing that agrees to sexy bad decisions.

Damn, I was there on Sunday and I'm not making another 5 1/2 hour trip this soon. DB, I'll take those drinks as a rain check some other time in Minny. I'll have to hate **** something on my own accord this weekend, regardless of outcome.

I wasn't wiped out, but drinking like a fish from 7 PM Friday to 7 PM Sunday all day is always fun. Actually, I'm still in good drinking form, but all of the standing and walking of 2 tailgates/games (Badgers included) effed up my calf and I've been out of sorts all week.

Sidenote: I'm watching with the most wigged out Brewers fan tomorrow. I mean, if Yuni goes 3-4 he tells me I'm an idiot for hating on a good situational hitter. He rode Gallardo as if he was a AAA scrub all year when he struggled. Racial slurs when Weeks and Morgan are in slumps. After a stupid error from Hairston he thought his defense was garbage, now he loves him.

One of my best friends here but the Brewers make him go **** insane.

I'm going to need the drink and the hate **** no matter what tomorrow if there is any drama in the game.

Damn I have to work at 530 tomorrow, but I guess at least with this start time I can see part of the game. Ideally I'd record it, but avoiding the score might be too tough.

My friend had an extra ticket for tonight's game so I'm going and couldn't be more pumped. I can't believe I'm saying this but this is my first game all season.

I would prefer Nyjer because I wore my sick Nyjer jersey to work this morning.

Also because I think it's the right thing to do.

As of an hour ago there were still tickets available. A ticket "expert" said that people don't like to buy playoff tickets until they know for sure there is going to be a game so they don't have to have the hassle of getting a refund. Since we didn't know until late Wednesday there would be a game tonight people held off buying tickets.

But considering there were thousands more people in the ticket lottery than they had available tickets I'm very surprised there were tix still available. I guess the 4:00 start time doesn't help but it's not like it's noon. There's no doubt it will be a sellout though.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah I'm not sure how the lottery worked. They had X amount of tickets available for each game. They had a lot more people who registered for the lottery. The "winners" were notified that they could buy tickets. If they didn't buy out the available tickets I would have thought others in the lottery would have been contacted until all the tickets were sold. But I guess they couldn't begin that process until they knew for sure there was a game 5.

But I just went on the Brewers website and there was no place to buy tickets for tonights game. So maybe the reports I heard were wrong but they were on 620 so I assumed they knew what they were talking about.

Weeks has been very McGehee-like this series. A good game from him could be the difference maker.

Just got tix last minute from a friend who can't go.

212 face value. Can't friggin wait.

Rickie breaks out of his slump tonight. You heard it here.

Braun goes yard and Fielder goes 2-4 with 2rbi's.

Career defining game for Yovani.

Don't be just A guy....be THE guy.
