Surprised he wasn't on a team. He was pretty bad last year, but he's been a pretty good avg guy his whole career with a ton of steals.

Weird.

Wong hurt his oblique today. With the trade of Arcia they probably want some depth

Wong on the 10 day IL. Oblique. Expected.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Brewers starters have MLB-best ERA (1.99), Whip (0.88), GIDP (7) in ten games, 54.1 innings. Record should be better.

So I think the FS1 broadcast last night was either the Cubs guys or some national ones. It was pretty cool to hear them talk about how good our staff is. If Peralta can run with that #3, that is a very young, very good top of the staff. Can't remember when we had such good pitching.

FS1 is still FS1. It's owned by Fox. The regional FSN's were not owned by Fox they are owned by Sinclair. Sinclair sold the naming rights (only) to Bally's.

I'm guessing they're being cautious with everyone early in the year and decent depth. Not a major dropoff with Bradley instead of Cain. Obviously Yelich out for more than he should be hurts a bit, but they have decent depth to survive for a while while giving everyone a few extra days off.

Brewers starting pitching has a 1.85 ERA, much better than any other team (2.44 is 2nd). Although they won't be able to keep this up, they've been very special this year. It's not like it's been flukey, either.

There has to be a happy medium IMO. Keston finally breaks out of his season long slump with a hard hit ball in 4 of 5 AB's against the Cardinals on April 10th and then you sit him the next day? Big Dan Vogelbach hits two HR's on Sunday and you sit him on Monday? I mean I get it if Yelich, Cain, and Wong are all healthy. You're not going to routinely sit your best players in the name of "hot hitting" or "momentum" from platoon guys, but when your other option is Jace freaking Peterson, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Speaking of, can we get Dee Gordon ready to go so I don't have to watch Jace get AB's for my favorite baseball team?

It's a real competition for who's the worse hitter between Jace and Robertson.

These guys leave longing for the days of Hernan as our utility guy.

It's getting to the point where Keston might need to be added to the "worse hitter" discussion. At least Jace and Robertson can field. I want to believe that Keston will turn it around, but right now, I'd prefer Big Dan and McKinney get more 1B at bats and, once Wong returns, he should be getting the 2B at bats. Keston has a ferocious swing, but he hasn't made consistently good contact in a long time.
