Oh **** off, you have to know the situation you're in and take a few pitches in these at bats. Absolutely ridiculous to let him have a 6 pitch inning there.

Fascinated that they couldn't find an at bat for Chourio in that inning with the game on the line. Seems like an easy call to pinch hit him for Monasterio in that situation.

Love Murphy, but how do you not pinch hit for Sal there?

What is Murphy doing letting Frelick bat vs Chapman??? Absurd decision

Letting Sal hit against Chapman there with Hoskins and Chourio sitting on the bench is absolutely insane. Love Murph but he got caught sleeping. Game's not over until the last out is recorded and he needs to manage accordingly.

Extremely frustrating game just because the circumstances of how close we were to battling enough to get Skenes out of the game and having it still be a 0-0 ballgame. And then immediately having a great chance in the 8th and failing to execute anything with 2 on nobody out. Civale looking really good was a nice bonus out of this one though.

Perkins has been clutch enough to keep out there but I think Monasterio should have been pinch hit for too since were on the topic

No shame to lose to the second coming of Cy Young. Skenes is fun to watch, and I think he'll be pretty good when his skin clears up. He does to my untrained eye have that Stephen Strasburg/Mark Prior flying elbow, but I guess you don't throw 102 if you have bad mechanics.
