Weird one to give away after not coming through in the 10th. Not helped by the Phillies coming back either.

Re: Brewers/Cards Series
Plenty of chances to win that one. Hurts in chase to get in top 2 for sure. I have no faith in Elvis. Curious what rationale was to bring him back.
On the flip, magic number to clinch division is down to 13 with another Cubs loss. Also seems like their playoff chances are fading with needing to pass both of the Mets & Braves.

Can the offense do some run scoring?

Re: Brewers/Cards Series
Mitchell's frustrating with the way he looks at strike three, but dude is solid as hell.
Frelick vs RHP: 90 WRC+
Mitchell vs RHP: 130 WRC+
Keep Mitchell healthy next season and he's basically a star.

Sal's last weak groundout made me check on his baseball savant stats and I did not realise he's basically the weakest hitter in baseball.

I said this in May!
I wonder if we're going to see a Frelick move soon. His batted ball data is straight up alarming. He's basically gone the entire season without hitting the ball hard, and now his defense is bad too.
To his credit, he's still been a useful player. But 460 PAs to a guy this bad with the bat is incredible.

Why Milner? He's just as terrible as Peguero.

I still hate the manfred runner and always will. Just add tie games to the standings instead of this farce.

Re: Brewers/Cards Series
Really big blow to the top 2 seed quest blowing a couple winnable games while the Phillies can't lose.

Re: Brewers/Cards Series
The hitters gotta be better that that's b2b nights of Murphy making the wrong bullpen call in extras that can't happen.

I know school is back but small crowds this week
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
