Well, no more relying on other teams to hand us things. Gotta actually start winning from here.

ETA: I know we won a lot of games this year, and definitely earned that. But everything we’ve clinched came on a loss and that’s been disappointing.

Lots of ups and downs over an insufferably long season. 96/97 wins and the best record in baseball was more than any of us expected. But a week from today we're 0-0, have to find a way to win.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

100 wins seemed like such a foregone conclusion. Since their 14 game win streak they're 18-20. Woof.

I don't think he's getting a roster spot.

At the end of the day this team was #1 over all of MLB.

Hopefully they can win a series or more.

I had a great time watching them all summer and that's not nothing. It's been a very memorable season. But not winning at least one playoff series would be a pretty massive disappointment, even with them coming back to earth in September and the randomness in the MLB post-season.

Just have to hope a fire gets lit under their asses and we see some urgency.

Wait, did the fans actually boo, or were they just frustrated in that terrible inning? I had the sound off.

This whole excerpt shows a lot of perspective, which is often hard to come by. Holy hell did some Brewers fans get spoiled and entitled fast during the hot streaks this year. I'm not sure I've ever seen a fanbase get so entitled so quickly.

I'll grant that the team and their fans haven't had fun for a while. It's normal to miss that and be frustrated, but it doesn't have nearly as much bearing on their playoff prospects as some people seem to think. To take this all for granted is just obnoxious as hell. You pretty much throw every hot streak and every slump from the regular season out the window as soon as the postseason starts anyway. That would be equally true if they had won 25 games or lost 25 games this month. What matters is the bye (they have it), the talent (they have it), and the health (ugh).

Lets not act like 18 and 20 is so bad. Yeah we backed into the top seed and I am not that
confident either
