I have a hard time seeing Shouse get out of this vs. Loretta who has torn our heart out a few times this year offensively and defensively.

Yeah...I had a feeling that a sweep and momentum building win were too good to be true.

Cubs will pull this one out too.

Time to play from behind with 2 4-game series against teams with winning records.

Still tied.

Brewers couldn't score anything on a no name, now have to do it on a decent bullpen

cubs take the game...we now must come back with our 2nd best hitter sitting on the bench. ned has done a good job of erasing all of his other stupid tendencies now please stop pulling braun in close games when our crappy bullpen is in there.

He's doing it for defensive purposes. I don't fault him for doing it, also because Braun has done nothing tonight and had two chances to give the Brewers the lead.

I understand it's for defensive purposes but this is the 2nd game vs. the Astros where we've blown a lead and had to comeback/take it back with him on the bench.

What was the other one?

As Gross does nothing. This offense has gone so cold

I believe the game a few weeks ago. Sheets vs Oswalt...

This game was in our hands...we could still have it but this was really a must win going into this tough finishing stretch and now the Reds will probably be without Griffey when the Cubs finish the season there.

I would expect Lidge to come in in the 9th regardless of what happens in this inning

2-1 was hardly in the Brewers hands.

Oh yeah, so this is what our bullpen looks like. It was nice not to really see them in big situations the past few games.

We had a late lead with the pen coming in. They had scored 2 runs in 24 innings so far in the series.
