Crappy way to lose.
Seeing eye single by Holliday that Furcal maybe have turned into an out. He steals second because Estrada isn't paying attention. Then Berkman bloops in a lucky hit while Skip Shumaker stands on deck.

Inexperince and dumb plays cost us that game.
Yuni can be great sometimes but other times his in game intelligence, like in the 11th, is just so dumb.
And Roenicke not walking Berkman in the 11th is just beyond intelligence, I can't figure it out.
Braun is a tremendous player too but he's been very anti clutch it seems this season.

Just got back from the game. Not walking Berkman was a mistake, but there's not much you can do about a lucky bloop hit. Overall it was as entertaining a game as I've experienced, but it's still an awful way to lose, especially to the **** Cards.
La Russa is a gigantic scumbag, and that team has completely taken on his personality. I can't believe he and Motte weren't ejected on the spot for hitting Braun.

Went to the game last night. A tremendous ball game all around but the worst I've ever endured. They did not deserve to win. They needed to make them pay for drilling Brauny, and loaded the bases with no outs in the 7th only to not get a single run in. That was a major kick to the testes. Worst part is it makes their alcoholic manager look like a genius with his BS fake tough old school tactics. I sincerely hate them more than any other franchise in sports without a Lebron on it's roster.
