Err, Santana has had a lower k rate the last 2 years. The argument falls apart from effectively every angle. You have no leg to stand on. That's the last I'm going to say about it.

I really like the way he's pitching, thought he's been grossly under-used this year, and has an underrated future, but I think it'd be pushing it to trust him to go all the way. But he should pitch thru next inning. Then I'd go with Jeffress and Soria, who looked sharp last night. Maybe Jeffress for two even.

This cardinals pitcher adds 15 minutes onto the game with every batter. I've never noticed a pitcher take so long to throw

Whatever happened to the pitch clock
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm literally looking at contact percentage stats that show Thames makes more contact than Santana.

CC botched keeping Woodruff in for multiple innings.

Looks like we're going for Knebel, Soria, Jeffress to finish. Thought maybe they would try to avoid using Knebel 3 days in a row if they could help it but too important of a game.

Now would be the time to criticize Counsell. Taking Woodruff out so Arcia could hit.

Yeah in a game where you're searching for someone to get outs I think you leave him in for at least one more.

I'd get someone up now knebel doesn't look sharp.

Knebel for the 3rd day in a row and the 4th time in 5 games. What could go wrong?
