I don't know what else to say to this other than you are wrong. Cameron was probably the biggest offseason acquisition (outside of arguably Gagne), and has a track record of success. No matter what Gwynn does in a 25 game sample, it is not going to override Cameron's several year sample. When you also take contracts into account, it just makes it even more definitive.
Yeah, over the last 9 seasons, Cameron averaged 21.44 HRs and 24.66 SBs a year among other things, and is coming off of two good years for the Padres (not exactly easy to hit HRs there, getting to play in Miller Park should mean more HRs per plate appearance this season). He's a gold glover.
I don't think there is anything Tony Gwynn could do in 25 games to eclipse that. Maybe if he is putting up MVP-esque numbers in those 25 games, but that is a really odd hypothetical, even if you happen to be really fond of Gwynn.
I mean, maybe Ned Yost will have a "tough" decision on who to bat cleanup between Braun and Kendall because due to Kendall's lasik surgery, he will be on pace after 25 games to belt 65 HRs this season.
