NOTE TO DODGERS WHO REACH BASE

When you dance your effeminate hula
I hate it from here to Missoula
Old-time pitchers would glower
And then buzz the tower
But today's game is all about moolah

No idea why, but I just have a good feeling about tonight. Maybe being on the road takes some of that pressure off.

I'm still here for this team. It's been a great ride. I really just wish that they could start having fun again.

Actually, maybe I just wish that I could start having fun again. At some point right after the 14-game win streak, expectations increased while performance decreased. Not a fun combo.

I also wish that they would start acting like a team that values everyone's contributions again, rather than acting like some guys on the team suck so much that you can't play them unless it's an emergency and have to risk overusing your preferred players. That's not the identity of this team.

Yep, stop **** swinging at first and second pitch junk outside the zone and we'll put ourselves in a much better position to win. It really is that simple.

It's actually pretty crazy that they still have the lowest chase rate in the playoffs among the remaining team

Doesn’t pay to bail now. Backs are against the wall but the point of following this all is to win a World Series and have a chance yet. Win tonight is much needed and will shift some pressure back to LA to get Game 4. Odds are against us but may as well enjoy being in the final 4 and lets give it hell.

Does anyone know of a site that has the payroll ratios with deferred compensation factored in? Ohtani has almost all deferred compensation, if I recall correctly. So, in order to compare payrolls, you have to average that out over the years of his contract.

The sites I've seen have Ohtani at like 10/$280m, but he signed for 10/$700m. I think the Dodgers are paying FAR more than triple what the Brewers are paying if you factor in deferred compensation.

Yelich last had a playoff RBI in 2018
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Based on Spotrac, the Dodgers have are just a hair under 4x our payroll this season. Pretty sure thats accounting for Ohtani's deferred money.

Anything that has them under $400 million is a fake number. The fact that it's hard to even find the total salary allocation numbers including deferred money feels incredibly intentional.

Disagree with the idea that the Brewers randomly turned into an undisciplined swing and miss machine. Dodgers have 4 aces and the two we've faced thus far have been pitching like it and painting the black with phenomenal stuff. Sure, the pressure has likely made them more tight, but the bottom line is the Dodgers are built for this and we all probably knew this was coming. You'd have to be perfect to beat LA.

Our pitching has been great but even if the bats come alive, the idea that we'll also be able to maintain control over their lineup is far fetched.

A clear cut, hate the game not the players situation for me. Nothing you can do to compete with it.

ETA: This is my favorite Brewers team ever. They overachieved and it was a successful season. They beat the Cubs so that was fun. My biggest takeaway from this is Jackson Chourio may end up on Brewers Mount Rushmore.
