It would be shocking if Texas dealt Andrus for Greinke, the reason you pick up Greinke is to make a run at the World Series, trading Andrus would put a massive dent in that philosophy.

What? First of all, of course it could up his value. It could convince a team who isn't looking for a 3B that Olt has the versatility to play in the outfield as well. Secondly, it's not about "dictating which position any of my players play" if you're trying to trade that player for Greinke.

FWIW TH basically pwned the guy who said Andrus was in the trade.

I didn't believe that Andrus "report" because that dude who posted it has never been right on anything but if the Rangers believe Profar is major league ready, of course it would make sense for them to trade a surplus for a need.

From talking to George Kottaras, sounds like #Brewers GM Doug Melvin is trying to work out something to keep him in majors.

I just think they would be crazy to think a 19 year old SS could thrive in the heat of a pennant race.

@BrianLogan12 Cute story but here's truth about player contracts: Every team has copies of contracts of every player. No need to request.

Someone had put out a false rumor that we traded Greinke and Gallardo for Olt and Andrus. It's being shot down big time. Meanwhile, the Angels have apparently shifted their rotation around and have a open spot on Sunday...when Zack is scheduled to pitch. Interesting.

Oh, and a trip down memory lane...remember when we acquired Greinke? That was exciting.

JSonline commenters are so dumb.

Melvin better hold out for that top SS prospect from the Rangers. He could throw in KROD and Ransom as added incentives to get him.

It could be a negotiating ploy.

If you don't agree to a Profar/Greinke deal, we'll throw K-Rod into our offer at 10 PM to make it worse!

And god help you if I add Ransom to the deal. Don't push it.

I was so excited when this happened, probably the most excited I've been for baseball season ever. :(

I'm watching the Nats broadcast of the game on MLB Network.

I'd trade Greinke for Kristina Akra for our in-game reporter.

I just want to see this house cleaned before I go camping this weekend. I have a feeling nothing will happen until tomorrow when I am miles away from any sports insight on the radio. Spotty cell phone reception will makes this a black cloud over my weekend.
