I just found out that I won Packer tickets (MNF vs Minnesota) through a drawing at a bar. That has to be a positive sign for the day, right?

I'll be driving up to Minneapolis during the game. Up nort' folk, what radio stations can I catch Uecker on as I'm getting up out of the Madison area? I would hate to miss a big play whilst searching for a station carrying the game. Thanks.

This is the list of all the stations that carry the Brewers, just print it out and take it with since over your drive you will likely have to change channels :P

ESPN radio is also carrying the series. It won't be Ueck but at least you would be able to hear it if there is an ESPN radio station around you.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Haudricourt Tom

Roof will be closed at Miller Park today because MLB wants "conditions consistent with 1st 4 games." Never mind that it's a gorgeous day.

Stupid.

It's a beautiful autumn day, but the Miller Park roof will be closed Friday for Game 5 between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Brewers spokesman Tyler Barnes said "MLB prefers conditions consistent with how the first four games were played."

He said the translucent panels in the outfield will be open.

MLB spokesman Pat Courtney said the decision to keep the outfield panels open was made in order to keep the stadium more comfortable.

This season, the Brewers were 27-12 with the roof closed (actually 29-12 counting the two playoff games), and 30-12 with the roof open

SO if it is perfect the first 2 games with the roof open, they will keep it open on a colder day? Its retractable for a reason.

106.7 I believe carries the Brewers with Uecker. ESPN's station is 1150.

I'm gonna be over at Kelly's for a drink before taking a shuttle.

I'm gonna be sick from nervousness.

I'm kind of glad I'm not going to the game today; I'm just not in the right frame of mind to really enjoy it. Winning this game would only be a relief for me because the journey won't be over yet. We'll have another series with Prince. We'll be able to have more home games to go to. We'll be that much closer to a World Series. And yet, if we lose today, it all stops. The season is over. We're done with Brewers baseball for a solid five months, and Prince will be gone.

When the Packers were going through their playoff run last year, I was definitely nervous from game to game. And true, that level of nervousness got higher as they moved closer to the Super Bowl. But, I was never truly scared. I always had confidence that they were the best team on the field. I always believed that if they just didn't make any stupid fluky mistakes, they could beat anyone. With this Brewers team, I don't have that same confidence, and that is why I am just not feeling good about this game.

Just found a U of Wisconsin bar here in DC, will be headed there shortly.

I call upon the power of the ex-Nationals to carry us to victory!!!

Morgan! Hairston! Estrada! Nieves!

Although granted if we see #3, we've lost or the game goes 17 innings. If we see #4 I'll just be confused.

GO BREWERS!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, the NLCS is being called by Brian Anderson. It would be fun to see him try to call Brewers games objectively.

If the #Brewers advance, we'll have Brewers-Packers doubleheader. First pitch 3:07.. All other NLCS games 7:07 p.m. except Game 6, 3:07.

The roof only takes about 10 minutes or so to close maybe 15. Just because it is open now doesn't mean anything in regards to the game.
