Wild how many games Mitchell has missed so far in his young career. Hopefully can heal the hand and contribute in a month or so.

Re: Brewers 2024 Discussion
Great news about BA, even if it’s only a handful of games. Just too bad it’s still Ballys…

Re: Brewers 2024 Discussion
Yeah, I was ready to be even more frustrated with Ballys over the Brewers than I have been with the Bucks - just because games are on every day. But it looks like they resolved in a good spot - 155 of the games will be on BSWI. So hopefully they get everything with this **** network figured out by next season.

Re: Brewers 2024 Discussion
I believe Rock is going the Uecker route and only doing home games. Maybe he did that last year, I don't remember.
Vinny does a good job.
I wonder how much longer the Brewers deal is with Bally's. I believe the Bucks are done with them after this season.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This is important to find out. Ballys offers a year-long package that would give you all the Brewers season and most of the Bucks (all of it if you wait a couple more weeks to order) for an amount that saves a good amount of money. Obviously if the Bucks aren't a part of Ballys that turns the deal bad.

From the Milwaukee Business Journal
In February 2021, the Brewers and Sinclair announced a new contract that gave the Brewers a minority share in the network. The deal is reportedly worth around $34 million per year for four years.
That would mean the deal expires after the upcoming season. I'm pretty sure the Bucks deal expires after the current season.
No idea how the proposed Amazon deal fits in.
The previous deal gave the Brewers $20 million a year. The Dodgers get over $300 million PER YEAR
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I assume with that roster above that Miley is starting on the DL? I was actually fairly optimistic into canp but leaving spring kinda worried it may be a long year.

Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

The season hasn't even started and we already cannot catch a break with injuries.

Yes against righties. I'd imagine he'll sit vs lefties.

Give him whatever he wants, and I don't mean financially at this point. If he wants to do the broadcast for home games, great. If he wants to do home games for odd innings, great. If he wants to do home games for the 1st and 9th inning only, great.
Let him announce the batters, great. Just fit him in wherever you can that works for him at this point.

Re: Brewers 2024 Discussion
Feel like when he does a game that may need to listen as that seems pretty open ended and honestly that he likely is not going to be doing many. Have to guess this may be his last year in the booth or will just do some occasional home games if feeling well enough. You don’t really hear much on his health I don’t feel.

Re: Brewers 2024 Discussion
That statement from Schlesinger came off to me as more ominous than anything, with the "expects to be at the mic" and "taking it a day at a time." I mean, that all makes sense for a guy who just turned 90, but I'm hoping that Ueck is doing okay. It ain't Brewers baseball without him.

Re: Brewers 2024 Discussion
There were rumors that we has going to do the first year of Miller Park and then retire. And he's still going 20+ years later. It's going to be a blow when he's gone.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
