I'm so done with this **** from Murphy. Chourio literally ripped a double off the same pitcher last night.

But lefty righty, duh.

Still my lone bone to pick with Murphy. Beyond annoying at this point. Would love to see stats of the pinch hitters every time Chourio is yanked in a high leverage situation. Feels like O-fer but that cant be right.

I had the exact same thing happen to me in college (aluminum bats) with a line drive off my pitching elbow. I had adrenaline running and went after the ball right away. I didn't look at my elbow until I heard my coach approaching the mound say "oh ****" - I looked down and immediately got nauseous, I had a tennis ball sized lump coming out of my elbow as I'm still on the field. Thankfully it got enough meat that nothing broke and I played outfield 4 days later with just a cool seam looking tattoo on my elbow.

I was good enough to always catch the comebackers. Unteachable reaction time. 8-)

Megill thinks he'll only be out a couple days. Dodged a huge bullet.

Catching up on highlights and I can’t recall ever seeing shadows like tonight. That looks like it’d be awful for the batters but i guess not.

The Blake Perkins game

Fly the L
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

A move for a power hitting first baseman would be nice.

Bauers a rough one. Usually solid glove. Very nice win! Be great to win this series tomorrow but at least guaranteed a split.

I'm not really worried about the Hoskins/Bauers platoon at all. The only really obvious need by far is serviceable innings in the rotation, but it's going to be a very tough market this year.

I like the young OF, but if you're talking about improving the lineup, it's pretty clear that that's where they're not getting production even when everyone is healthy - notwithstanding Yelich, who should be a DH around half the time IMO. I'm optimistic that Perkins is over his slump and Chourio/Frelick will play better in the second half of the season though.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.
