Yeah I meant Aaron Judge. No way he gets it over Judge, nor should he.

I don't really have a strong opinion one way or another, but we seem to use advanced numbers much more these days vs. the olden days of, "he won the triple crown so he gets the MVP."

Well, Raleigh's WAR is 9. Judge is 9.8. That basically paints the picture that Judge is putting up video game numbers and merely exists on defense, though part of that was his injury which held him out of playing defense for a while. Raleigh is putting up extremely good numbers at a premium position and playing above average at the premium position.

All I'm saying there is Raleigh could win it due to Judge fatigue + that quantification of what he means to the team.

Yankees win, Blue Jays win. Remained tied, Toronto with the tiebreaker.

Tigers win, Guardians play tonight.

Mets win.

Judge finished the season with 53 HRs and a 331 average. There's a 200 point gap in OPS. Huge props to Cal, but the race waned in September. Judge absolutely clobbered the ball this month.

Should be fun playoffs. AL has some intriguing WC matchups based on rivalry and how AL Central ended up. NL we’ll see. Both have a good mix of big market/star heavy teams, and also solid mid to smaller market organizations.

The WC series I like most is Reds-Dodgers. I think the Reds are in a great position to pull an upset simply because they have Greene and Abbott lined up to start, and all you need is two good starts to steal a best-of-3 series.

I'll also be rooting for Seattle to finally get to the World series, and the way the Central played out is an absolute gift to them as a 2-seed. The AL East rivalries will continue into the ALDS, whether the Yankees or Red Sox advance to face the Jays, which is an incredibly crappy seeding situation for all of them.

Looks like Skubal is absolute murder today, but the replay I saw shows him not doing himself any favors in the field. Guardians scored from 2nd on an infield single with 2 outs when he bobbled a chopper while chasing it straight backwards a la Willie Mays. Should have definitely left that one for a middle infielder.

Man, Cleveland was gifted an error that got Ramirez on third with no one out in the bottom of the 9th and couldn't get him across the plate. Brutal!

I think we have a separate thread just for this series because it has so much bearing on the Brewers' postseason plans.

Starter goes 6+ and your first arm out of the pen gives up the lead. You honestly love to see it.

Devin had a bad year but didn't give up a run in his last 9 appearances. It will be interesting to see if they trust him.
