We've been hot before in September and have had duds in the playoffs. Just get in is the motto and we've got the best position.

I thought that was a dumb challenge at first but it looks like Durbin actually tagged him on the helmet way before the runner's hand touched the bag

They really really need Megill to be lights out.

Mets losing 4-0. If we win this game I really hope the Mets lose and get bounced.

97 was harder than it needed to be but feels good. Nice to end the season on a positive note.

Hell of a season. Summer was a blast. Let's go have a hell of a post season and a blast of a fall.

Great outcome. Season starts over now. It hasn't been much fun since the middle of August, but don't let that make you pessimistic. It has little bearing on their playoff chances unless you think the most wins and best run differential in baseball was some kind of fluke. I don't think it was.

And the Reds backed in too! I have never gambled on sports and probably never will, but I have a feeling that's going to be what gamblers call "good value" when their odds of beating the Dodgers come out excessively low. And I'm glad there's a team that could upset the Dodgers, who would be the toughest potential NLCS foe IMO (if the Brewers are fortunate enough to advance).

That's too bad re: Hall. That said, they're probably going to have to keep some pitchers who didn't look good or didn't pitch at all near the end of the season regardless. It's probably better to pick someone who pitched well most of the season, even if he looked rusty coming back from injury, than it is to pick someone who's been mediocre or who hasn't worked off any rust at all. I expect Hall to make it.

In Europe the season would be over and we’d be the champions

Never thought I'd see a Brewers team win 97-games and I'm glad I was there in person for it.

Glad to get to 97 so this team is remembered fondly. June through majority of August was really fun, maybe the most fun stretch of baseball in my lifetime as a fan which now goes back 30+ years of what I can remember.

This team exceeded all expectations, especially where we were the first 1.5 months of the season. Lets make a run!
