Bad, bad loss, that Counsell run loom large, but how could Ned not pull Turnbow when it was 6-5?

What bandwagon?

A turnblow bandwagon?

I never liked the guy... I knew it was just a matter of time. I would get a heart attack every time he steps on the mound.

Ned's been pulling this BS all year when we are about to blow the lead or give up a huge inning. I understand it is early in the year but as a manager, he should be trying to win every game and if it means pulling someone quick, who cares. The players may not like it that day but when there ERA's stay low, they will thank him for it later. Ned's decisions have easily cost us 3 wins this year that I can remember off of the top of my head. He better learn from these mistake now cause later in the year this crap won't fly.

Relax, there's another game tomorrow. Adam Eaton is pitching. Should be fun.

I will shortly, but still, this is the worst loss of this short season. I mean, giving up 6 runs in the 8th inning and NOT GETTING TURNBOW OUT OF THERE? That's inexcusable.

Goodluck in the playoffs guys.

The Cubs will be a .500 team all year.

WHy is everyone blasting turnbow?

I dont get it. THis guy has pitched his lights out all year.

ANd your ready to say its the same old turnbow from last years second half.

This guy looks nothing like he did in the second half and if you say he does you probally didnt watch one game in the seocnd half of the season last year.

This season, yes. It drew a bunch of bandwagoners and has pretty much made me (a regular poster since before I joined the Bucks board) post sparingly.

this loss came from one source and that source would be.....STUPIDITY :x. How could anyone leave turnbow in when he isnt even "in the zone", i ask you. Ned just screwed us out of an easy win when he shoulda brought in Cordero. Ned has been doing this **** for years, when will he learn. :banghead:

pretty much sums this one up.

looking forward to tomarrow though.

The bigger issue was letting Shouse start the inning vs two righthanded hitters. That started the whole mess.

Actually Rowand was batting .380 versus righties, .250 versus lefties. Victorino also hits 230 versus lefties, despite being a switch hitter. In addition Rollins bats significantly worse versus lefties, so actually I would have left Shouse in at that point...

I was at this game, and it was painful. I agree Yost hurt us this game, despite the above, although I'm hardly going to blame him for the long haul.

The Counsell out at third sucked, as did leaving in Turnbow too long.

Oh well, gotta put it out of our heads...

Don't care about that. Yost HAS to know that Shouse is a LOOGY only. Putting him in against right handed batters or switch hitters is just stupid and inexcuseable.
