The Braun thing is a bad idea when its only 2-1 in the 7th.
Bigger lead or its the 8th, good idea.
But alot of managers f### this up, I will cite the Phillies who regularly took Pat Burrell out in close games in the 6th for the some reason.
Not a horrible mistake but another straw in the gigantic haystack that is Neddy.
I like Estrada reaching for the ball and using his legs by the way. Super strategy, leggy.

And the Brewers scored 15 in the first two games, 2 tonight, and had plenty of opportunities to score more and didn't.

Horrible call by Yost. Rule #1, Don't bring in T-bow with men on base. Bring in Cordero.

Will Ned ever learn to not bring in Turnbow with men on base?
This is the definition of saving the game, you go to Cordero there.

No, we can't really bring in our closer who has had two four out saves in the last 3-4 days in a tie game in the 8th with one out.
But we can pitch him 6 days in a row in May. Okay just making sure we're clear here.

Oh yeah he also had 2 days off so it's not like he wasn't rested.

5 outs on the road? No, that really isn't an option.
The offense is to blame tonight

Sure, maybe it is tonight. But I put the blame 90% on the bullpen. The offense can't score us 5+ runs every night. Bush gets a good start and the bullpen comes in and reverts to its old ways. If the game were 8-7 and the pen came in and blew it we'd blame it all on the pitching. Bottom line, you expect the bullpen to hold onto leads after the 6th inning.
