It's not like Corey is JJ Hardy or anything if you know what I mean. :D

I wouldn't believe this if he popped a dozen Viagra's before every game.

absolute horse ****.

how could they honestly give this in hart's favor???

he made the all star in 2008 with like 15 home runs and a batting average around 290 at the break, only because milwaukee fans vote more than pretty much any organization for all star and got him in there. he then was our worst player the rest of the season and a main reason we almost missed playoffs and lost when we did get to playoffs.

PRETTY SIGNIFICANT DROP OFF AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED, ENOUGH TO WIN A RIDICULOUS ARBITRATION HEARING AT LEAST

I figured Hart and Berry must have thought they had a good shot of winning to be willing to fight this all the way to arbitration. They must have had some pretty compelling league-wide figures on their side, especially considering that the teams have a pretty good winning % at these hearings.

But, DM negotiating through the last second didn't help, constantly upping the offer to avoid arbitration, and then filing a lesser figure at arby. Because they can only pick between the two offers (which, btw, is a stupid idea IMO...I wonder if that's something negotiated in the CBA), they'll either have to consider giving Hart a lesser amount than the team was willing to negotiate and value him at, or they're just going to have to pay him. They chose the latter.

In his three years as a starter, Hart has 300 strikeouts.

In his three years as a starter, Hart has 106 walks. Total.

Raise...deserved.
