1. Sheets, get healthy soon.

2. Get Parra and Villanueva in the rotation.

3. Get (pick two starting pitchers other than Gallardo) out of the rotation.

We aren't even close to the 1982 team. On offense, we may have more power, but we're terrible with runners on base.

For the pitching staff, we suck.

Yost must have envisioned Rickie drawing 4 walks every night, it's the only logical explanation for the leadoff promotion. Rickie certainly won't be getting on base via contact anytime soon.

Suppan was 5-2 with a 2.63 ERA, Cappy was 5-0 with an ERA of 2.31. They were very much aces at that point. And crap every since.

Theres no patience at the plate anymore. They are swinging at garbage pitches. The St. Loius announcers are correct. We score runs in a bunch 1st, 2nd, and 3rd innings. Then they dont hit for another whole game....


Oh and are you sure you want Manny Parra in that rotation? He hasn't been good at all either....

You're not an ace after 7 or 8 starts. The are (actually were) good middle of the rotation starters but nothing more.

Well... at least Ned will sleep well tonight as he did on Sunday. His arms are rested. It's nice that Linebrink and the likes will be rested to play golf in October.

Well I saw the 8-78 and I had a calculator by me, add that in to the natural curiosity of what that is and voila it's like .103.

All he needs to do is make 3 more outs without getting a hit (shouldn't be too hard for him) and he'll be under .100.
