That's an unacceptable mistake even on the little league level.

The Scorekeeper must have been "HIT" on the head before the game.

Hopefully that run doesn't cost us later.

They gave Marte a "HIT" because the scorekeeper could not determine who made the error since there were two guys (Ramirez and Reynolds) who fumbled the high popup in front of the pitcher's mound together. That's sound reasoning--NOT.

I'm fairly convinced that Braun's thumb injury is going to bring Braun's career to a premature end. In the meanwhile, he's hurting the team by playing with a bum thumb.

Maldonado with a walk to lead off the inning in the top of the 3rd. Time to take advantage!

I'm not
convinced, but I am sincerely concerned. Nerve issues are weird, and often there isn't much that can be done. It's at least plausible that the nerve damage to his thumb may significantly dampen the second half of his career.

Time to move Jean down the order and Luc into the 2 hole.

Well, scorekeeper came to his senses and has now taken away the HIT and given an ERROR to Reynolds.

Lucroy is too tuckered out, I think, according to Roenicke to play tonight. Play your best players everyday unless they're really slumping badly or are sick/hurting. Prince Fielder played everyday. Too many days off for Lucroy. I bet Lucroy would agree with my last sentence, at the very least, here.
