We won the first game. Whatever happens these next two doesn't really bother me. Had they lost last night, this lineup would be extra gross. Maybe we will get lucky and the game will be a rain out.

This lineup does not spell winner.

It looks like a lineup out of the early 2000's. I feel bad for Lohse. Should fake an injury so he doesn't have to put the wear and tear on his body for this putrid lineup.

That is a Wendy Selig-Prieb era kind of lineup.

I know we're missing our best players but we have to be able to do better than Jeff Bianchi and Elian Herrera. I don't really follow the farm system unless theres some stud on the verge of being called up. Is there nobody else? That said, based on what I've seen so far, I refuse to count out this red hot pitching staff. Lets get it done minor-leaguers and fringe MLB'ers!

It would really help if Weeks could play a position besides a below-average 2B. And hit better too.

Scooter Gennett batting 3rd for a team I root for is straight from a nightmare.

Not necessarily. Though, if Braun gets put on the DL, they can call up somebody like Caleb Gindl who is a decent 4th OF, but they have nobody at replacement-level in sight in their minors system. Jeremy Hermida if in the majors for a month might be able to hit a handful of homers or something like that.

Given that nobody's injury except maybe Braun's is an extended one, not a major deal as it stands. But we are a season-ending injury away from a ****.

honestly if we can find a way to somehow beat the cards with that lineup, i think we'll have broken whatever curse/stranglehold they have over us. (combined with what happened last night and the fact it would be our third win in a row against them)

Lohse could pitch a no no and I still think we'd lose.

We won last night and are missing some great bats. I'm fine with whatever happens tonight.
