Pirates down 2-0 after the top half of the first, would be nice for them to lose and us to win start putting some distance back between them again.

Yea, for all the good KD has done this year, he's sucked with RISP. Hopefully he gets better with more experience.

I'm disappointed he couldn't put it in play at least. I can't be too upset b/c he did work the count and is responsible for 2 of the 4 we have.
Sucked the Gennett probably hit it too shallow as well.

Gomez is seriously a moron. How many times has he made an out on the basepaths trying to get to 3rd with two outs? How many times has he been successful? More importantly, how many times has it resulted in an extra run that he wouldn't have scored anyway had he just stayed on 2nd like any baseball player older than 12 should have enough sense to do? It's a middle-school probability problem. The larger concern, however, is the fact that management seems to have no inclination whatsoever to correct it. Makes me wonder if RR doesn't really have control over his players or just doesn't care about fundamentals. I don't care how good you think you are; if you can't get that kind of **** straightened out you are not a legit contender unless your talent level is head and shoulders above the competition.
