Thornburg and Henderson not coming back this season

Gotta wonder if Henderson is ever gonna come back if he is getting another shoulder surgery. Sucks we're not getting that boost in RHP from the pen we were hoping for.

Well, I wasn't really counting on Henderson, to be honest. Bummed about him and Thornburg, but I'd rather they have an offseason to heal rather than trying to come back too early.

I honestly thought Henderson would be back, but had no expectations of seeing Thornburg back. Sucks that neither be, but getting these guys healthy long term is definitely the way to go.

I expected this, but it is a bummer. I'd feel so much better about the bullpen over the rest of the season is we had a healthy Henderson throwing 95 plus in the 8th innings of close games, especially given that Smith has really been struggling vs righthanded batters and i'm still not completely sold on Jeffress.
