I'm kind of more intrigued by Cecchini than Middlebrooks but went Middlebrooks due to Cecchini having an option left. CF and backups are going to be kind of fun to watch in spring.

Middlebrooks isn't on the 40 man so he can be sent to the minors as well but has an opt out after a couple of months. Probably would go Pena over Jones as the jump to the bigs is too much for Jones. Nieuwenhuis over Broxton on the bench with Liriano as the starting CF. For now I'll put Nolin in the pen but it wouldn't surprise me if another non roster lefty makes the team if Nolin's velocity isn't back. I don't think the Brewers think of Rivera as much of a prospect so they will have him make the team as a defensive specialist even though he can't hit and won't get a lot of playing time. Reed is still in their plans so I expect him to play ever day in AAA.

I think Rivera's ticket is he plays SS, unless Walsh can play there. I'm not 100% sure if he has any experience at SS.

Looks like a crop of guys were sent to minor leagle camp. Only one that I saw that maybe had shot at opening day roster was Michael Reed.

60 Man Liriano
Only other move I could see is replacing Blazek or Pena with an NRI in Morales, Boyer or Capuano. Though carrying three lefties is a tough task.

Sounds like Nolin may end up on DL. Could open door for Capuano.

I think Morales would have the inside track over Cappy

Starting to take shape. Sounds like only a couple bullpen spots and backup OF & IF spot up for grabs. Morales will know today & Cappy tomorrow.

Looks like I will have 20 right, 1 wrong (Middlebrooks), and 4 that ended up on DL (Liriano. Jones, Nolin, Smith) for my predictions.

Makes a ton of sense since he isnt on the 40. Dont have to DFA anyone. Just send him to AAA
