this is good.

I'm glad the Brewers have an announcer who doesn't over do it when it comes to calling the games. No yelling, no fake excitement, no stupid catchphrases, etc.

That's surprising. I was waiting for him to leave for a permanent national gig any time now.

But, I suppose if he gets to keep doing national games from time to time, it's a good decision for him.

I still see him, eventually, as the replacement to Jim Nantz

I like BA and kinda felt he would move on soon.

Speaking of Bucket head Brigade, whatever happened to Daron Sutton? Last I heard he was in hot water with Diamondbacks & believe he got canned/not renewed. He had a tough task of replacing Vasgergian and think he tried hard to be that over the top guy at times.

He's basically a freelance play by play guy. He does American Sports Network to PAC 12, basketball to baseball.

I've heard from friends in the media that Sutton was a big douche during his time with the Brewers.

Sutton lived down the street from me in Mequon, he was always friendly and nice.

Keeping this in here to remind Turk how silly he is.

I don't doubt Sutton was nice to either of you, but its not uncommon for someone to act different ways in different situations.

Sutton was pretty chill at UWM games too. He used to do the play by play for several years.

Nah, Nantz is only 56. He could keep going for another 15+ years if he wants to. At that point Anderson will be 60 and CBS would go with somebody younger. If for some reason Nantz decides he's had enough in the next 5-10 years, CBS already has Ian Eagle as a very capable replacement. I do think Anderson will become one of the TNT regulars on the NBA once Marv retires.
