Broxton is pretty much a double if he can get to first.

Hopefully Perez learns to walk more, we would have a very good player on our hands

It's crazy how bad our top 3 starters coming into the season have been. Nelson was solid for half the season, but has been brutal since mid June. Peralta and Jungmann were straight up awful in April and May.

Considering how bad those 3 have been it's a wonder that this team might win 70 games.

I'm excited to have some solid pitching prospects in the pipeline for a change. Nelson is not terrible, but Jungmann and Peralta were expected to be trash anyways. Peralta/Nelson have never been able to get lefties out in their careers and Jungmann was lucky last year.

I wonder if it would be worth trying Nelson and/or Peralta as 2-pitch flamethrowers out of the bullpen at some point? Not sure they have anything with either of those guys in terms of starting but you can often develop bullpen assets with arms like that.

Most definitely. I was a tad worried after the Colorado sweep. Finally, the Pirates putting something together. We are tied for the 7th/8th spot. A game or so back of 5th. Let's keep this train rolling.

Great day for the tank! Literally every other team we can catch won. Cincy probably won't win but they're playing Arizona so that's okay. 1.5 out of 3rd if that holds up! 3 through 9 separated by just 2.5 games.

Arcia really starting to get the "swing" of things as of late. Really happy to see that

I'm in anti-Cub mode right now. Team is [mostly] likeable and built the right way, and I like basically every Cubs fan I know...but every fan in a Rizzo jerseys takes every chance they can to slander Aaron Rodgers and the Packers and I've had beer thrown at me at Miller Park. Go Cards (and everyone else still involved).

Texas, Boston, and San Fran for me. Always been a closet Boston and San Fran fan. Texas for Lucroy playing well. SF is the only NL team Ill pull for.

San Fran's had more success in the past six years than any team in Baseball. **** the Giants, and especially **** baseball's Supreme Guardian of Playing The Right Way, Madison Bumgarner. Insufferable twat.

I want the Mariners but they've slumped and aren't going to make it. Wouldn't mind seeing the Jays mash their way to a World Series. Would be fine with the Nationals winning too and the Pirates if they make it.
