ALWC Orioles @ Blue Jays 10/4
NLWC Giants @ Mets 10/5
ALDS Red Sox @ Indians 10/6
ALDS AL Wild Card @ Rangers 10/6
NLDS Dodgers @ Nationals 10/7
NLDS NL Wild Card @ Cubs 10/7

Hoping the Giants and Orioles take WC. Pulling for Texas to win it all though.

Rooting for Texas as well. Have a friendly bet with a Cubs fan that the Cubs won't make it past game 4 of the NLDS.

I think the scariest team in the AL is Cleveland for sure with that starting pitching. In the NL you can never count out San Fran. Only true threat to Chicago I think is LA though with their pitching.

Cleveland isn't scary with Carrasco and Salazar out. Boston has better starting pitching.

I guess seeing the Blue Jays or Rangers win would be better than anyone else.

Canada trying to ruin everyone's fun - someone threw a LaBatt Blue on the field to try and interfere with an easy out.

Jesus Christ. I want to say this will be the event that leads the cleaning out of all the remaining stupid, old baseball guard...but I'm probably being optimistic.

Was laughing so hard when Showalter decided not to use Britton. Any medium depth fly ball is going to end your season and Jimenez was horrible this year and gave up two line drive hits on what, 3 or 4 pitches? If there is any time to use your shut down, ground ball machine who also strikes out a batter per inning, that's it.

Thats all on Buck. Terrible game management. Who the **** doesnt go to the only Cy young closer. So dumb. Toronto is in deep **** with that rotation though. If they dont hit HR's they cant win.

He wasted about 5 opportunities to do it.

Somewhat understandable, still stupid was going Brach and then O'Day first, they're good, but not Britton.

Duensing/Ubaldo was WTF?

Correct order would have been Britton/Brach/O'Day/whoever

I believe O'Day faced a bunch of eighties, so I was okay with that. How he isn't staying warm in extra innings so they can have him ready quick, I have no idea.

Yeah, O'Day was fine to induce grounders to righties.

That said, Britton is a major groundball machine and they went Brach/O'Day through the meat of the order...the correct call is Britton first...but I'm not really arguing too much. Situationally, it's not a major difference.

The 2 teams I was probably most going for are out. But I'm mostly anybody but Cubs or Red Sox. If I had to pick 2 to root for I'll go Nationals & Blue Jays. Giants may be a thorn for Cubs. I think if they get by them, they'll win it.

I really can't stand Ernie Johnson, baseball commentator. Has an awful voice for it.

GO GIANTS.

Washington/LA is a good matchup.
