Jett Bandy getting the start at C is a little surprising but other than that as expected. Don't love Thames hitting 2nd but we don't really have a lot of good options.

Lotta faith giving Thames the #2 spot right off the bat.

what is the scouting report on his approach to the plate? Stearns seems to be loading us up with patient, high OBP guys for the most part. Would hate to have a guy that isn't taking pitches with Villar on the basepath.

He was a great OBP guy in Korea, who really knows that means in the MLB. I guess if he is what they think he is then he's the best guy for that spot. Very interested to watch him play this season.

Lots of fun things to watch with this team...Does Villar continue his play, do the young pitchers get their **** together, does Domingo and Broxton make the leap forward this year, do we have our 3B of the future after that position being a turnstile for years, and of course, so much talent in the minors.

A proper rebuild is so refreshing.

Opening day is always fun. Well except the last opening day for the brewers that i attended... was the final opening day at county stadium and i was 20 and got an underage drinking ticket while tailgating and spent the first 5 innings in the stadium jail cell.. that was a wild place and hilarious they had one in the stadium.. good times lol

Whatever. I'm excited about this team. Not optimistic about the staff but I'm expecting a couple arms to surprise. Really looking forward watching the young bats all season.

We're pronouncing the "th" in Thames? I assumed it was said "tames"
