Feliz out as closer. Knebel takes over. Sogard added to 40 and Braun to DL.

Harvey "back" from being suspended for three games in which he wasn't going to play anyway.

Stay hot Garzy, muh boy. Say hot. Let's get a streak of 7-8 inning 0-1 run stints. Find yourself, Garzy. And let's help you move along :)

Every time I see Bandy at the plate I think: this is a ML hitter. He's a nice catcher to have on the roster. What were the Angels thinking?

Well, we certainly struck out on Feliz to date. Had a great opening day and, honestly, he's been a ticking time bomb since. Good demotion. Would still love to see him go on a tear here of some kind to be shipped off. These hopes seem to fade daily, however.

Unpaid suspension though. Still hurt him.

Didn't see this article from the other day posted in any of the threads, sorry if its a repost but found it very interesting.

There is just something cool going on with the chemistry of this team. Not going to worry about sustainability with the big league club and enjoy it while it lasts.

I wholeheartedly agree. They play w good spirit. They're doing the occasional smart baseball thing lately as well - case and point, the double steal that gave us an insurance run during the run down. Anyhow, this year is gravy anything remotely close to .500.

Bandy has out performed expectations but that trade was kind of a head scratcher for the Angeles when it went down. Now I can't see Bandy sustaining an OPS over 900 but he certainly could be a serviceable starter.

Man the brewers really played their cards right with the catcher position the past 12 months. Really looks like they sold at the perfect time with lucroy and maldy.

A worthy question. I think in this case it's mental. He still has the stuff, really. Last night pre-HR's to Sogard and Arcia he had found a rhythm. He was getting our best hitters to chase his high tailing heat and mixing in his off-speed stuff really well. I think he'll regain a semblance of his former form but you just never know how an athlete will respond to adversity.

Davies can't locate his offspeed stuff at all and isn't fooling anyone with that fastball when he's behind in the count.

He's been a bit of a chore to watch this year.
