Thank god for Gomez's bum hip *wink* *wink* on that Wheeler/Flores for Gomez trade, eh?!

Getting some quality starts *holds breath* from the starters lately. Again, surprising.

I don't think Reyes is any good in the field anymore. He makes plays look like gold glovers because he moves so damn slow so he has to hurry.

Here's the Garza we all know and love. Throwing 90 mph batting practice fastballs right down the middle.

Santana sure does have a lot of pop in his bat

Absurd to reward the pitcher for standing there and taking those pitches.

CB Bucknor is **** awful.

I haven't seen every at bat but I can't remember the last time Thames has put a good swing on the ball.

Right after I posted that it was the 5th. I told my daughter that's where he usually starts to either fall off a cliff or pitch s great game. At least he made me look like I had a little idea of what I'm talking about.

Bummed they couldn't cash in on the 9th. Collar looks lost up there. He's not good right now. Does he have any options? If so maybe send him down?

Taking too many strikes in strikeout counts. Very frustrating.

Knebel's curveball is my favorite pitch.

Willy Peralta is not very good right now; what's the cure?

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed (Counsell obviously hasn't)....but when Sogard starts, the Brewers win. When he doesn't, they lose. Look at the starting lineups over the last couple weeks; the proof is in the pudding. Nerd Power is real! I still can't understand why you would take a red-hot hitter out of your lineup in favor of Villar at this point. The dude was getting on base at like a 80% clip - why not ride him while he's still hot?

Because he is going to regress to a .600 OPS hitter again.

They need to call up an outfielder with Braun and Thames injured.

Yeah, when most of your starts come against the Padres and Las Vegas Mets, the team record is probably going to be good when you start.

You see JG when he's got his two seamer and splitter working and it becomes obvious how he could have a sub three ERA. Just nasty stuff.

Nice to see Thames hit a ball hard again.
