Love Counsell at the helm. He's our guy going forward as far as I'm concerned.

Baseball's commissioner needs to be fired for allowing payroll inequities to stack the deck against the smaller-market teams.

That said, the Brewers this year are below .500 against their own division--losing to the Reds and Pirtates is tough to take, honestly. Losing to the Cardinals and Cubs ... well, they each have 1.5 and 2.0 times the payroll of the Brewers, respectively--it's kinda' to be expected, honestly.

I blame Counsell for being too slow to adjust to game situations, often--he needs to use the better bullpen arms in close games--even when we're behind to give us a better shot at comebacks in closer games.

He needs to think of benching Shaw against lefties and/or moving him down in the order against lefties. Even Yelich could be moved down in the order against certain lefties. He needs to play Nottingham over Kratz as much as possible.

I rate Counsell as "below average" as a manager.

Going with meh. Keeps using the wrong pitchers. Cory is a crappy closer but he keeps on using him.

No need to change my answer. Like 90% of managers, he is completely meh.

Do you think that they rely too much on stats?

I don’t know how people can complain so much about our roster being not so good, then look at our record and say our manager must be meh.

Either our roster is really good(unlikely in my opinion )or our manager is really good or some kind of in between.

26 roster moves this week.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Our roster isn't particularly good but the relievers and defense are elite and allows us to basically win every game we have the lead or are tied after the 6th inning.

I'm a little surprised no one mentioned Lorenzo Cain getting caught steal at 3rd with 1 out. Then Yelich proceeds to getting a hit...We seem to have players that think its a good idea to steal 3rd late in the game. We were even up 3 runs.

Brewers tend to play the %s but not this time. Boneheaded play.

LOL people freaking out after one bad week. Yost was a bad manager. CC is not. Never realized how bi-polar brewers fans were until these past few games.

4% of voters have said he's a below average manager. **** out of here with saying everyone is freaking out and calling him a bad manager.

Craig did a much better job managing the bullpen when Knebel was hurt because he played matchups, which is how it should ALWAYS be and some of us fans have been begging for that for a decade plus now. His lineups are also frustrating (Shaw cleanup, Braun in the 3 hole for how long until he finally changed it) and one last thing that bugs me are his emo ass post game interviews. Besides that hes a solid manager

Braun is our best hitter with RISP. Even with his terrible slump, he was hitting the ball hard, line drives, but right to defenders. So there was solid reasoning why you would think he would break out of it.

Craig Counsell with head-scratching use of the bullpen late in the game tonight ... why no backup(s) warming up in the bullpen for Taylor Williams while Williams gives up six consecutive baserunners?

Why Woodruff pitching while the game is still close? Give your offense a chance. The bullpen is rested! We just had an all-star break! Give me a break! Why are we using less-than-the-best out of the bullpen in a close game?

Oh yeah, I forgot ... Counsell cannot use Hader, Jeffress, Knebel hardly ever UNLESS we are ahead in the game ... as I said, give me a break! Think outside the box! Get out of this myopic managing mess!!!!
