3/4 from St Luis at Busch! Cardinals are on the downslope, they are no longer intimidating.

I typically want to punch Brian in the face at least a couple times a game.

Okay, but the Brewers being 2.5 games up in the division? Good? Bad?

I want to applaud how you used literally in that sentence. It's so often used incorrectly.

Also, very funny.

Would enjoy it more if they cut the old ****. I know he's hurt now but I want Woodruff starting. I'd like Hader to at least get a few starts here and there to build up innings because he should still be developed as a starter.

I think it's only a matter of time before Wily and Torres are gone. They'll give Garza a chance, which is fine, and they'll continue to bring up arms to take over in the bullpen.

This has been a really good season so far.

I can't get over how good Sogard continues to be both at the plate and in the field.

Even in that something like 1-15 stretch, he hit a couple of really hard hit line drive outs. I'd love for someone in the media to ask if he's changed something in his batting stance or anything else to explain his continued hitting. Maybe it's mainly a small sample fluke with some luck mixed it, but the guy consistently puts together great at bats and his walk rate is as impressive as the hitting. He's also better defensively than i expected.

This is fun. I'm definitely enjoying the ride. Half of me wants us to grab one or two starters at the deadline and make a run at this thing. The other half of me wants to stay patient and let the chips fall where they may. But it would be shame to waste a top-to-bottom lineup like this current version. I mean, Nick Franklin is the only automatic out on the team and I have to imagine he'll be gone when Braun or Villar are ready to roll. Nobody expected this kind of production from Sogard, Thames, Aguilar, Shaw, Bandy, and Pina. I mean, obviously don't give up the farm for a front line starter, but there is no reason not to explore the market. We're all-of-a-sudden a very deep organization. I trust Stearns. Again, this is fun. :D

This team being in first with only 30 games of Braun and no real production from Villar is completely unbelievable to me
