Now I'm legitimately confused. Nick Franklin is starting over Brinson. Seriously WTF was the point of calling him up. This is terrible management.

Frankly Nick Franklin starting over anyone or even being on this team is confusing. Starting him over brinson is just criminal negligence.

Nick Franklin must be one hell of a guy with one hell of a sob story.

In other news Villar and Braun are playing for the Timber Rattlers today (both 1-1 so far). That would have been a cool game to go to for T-rat fans.

That's trash from Arcia. Anderson making excuses for him is also trash.

Good job getting out of the inning after the big error from Arcia.

Arcia makes some spectacular plays and has great range and a strong arm, but he has too many drops and careless plays. He's young yes but he's gotta focus inning by inning.

Bringing up Brinson to have him sit on the bench every other day has been incredibly stupid.

So, the Brewers have one guy to send down once Braun and Villar return. The obvious answer would be Franklin, but is there any chance it could be a pitcher instead, namely Espino or Suter? I'm not as down on Franklin as many others are on here. I think he's one of those guys where if you ignore the stats, and just watch him play, you'd say, "that's a guy who can help my team." Now, the results aren't exactly there due to limited playing time, but he's hit the ball hard and is obviously versatile. But, of course, the Brewers have many versatile players - the fact that they have so many moving parts, defensively, is what makes these moves hard to predict.

With the way the staff has been on short starts its very unlikely they would go with a short pen. Franklin is a scrap heap guy and honestly at this stage in his career may even be unclaimed if DFA'd with the option of taking an MiLB assignment.

Franklin sucks and should be DFA. At some point when the team needs another position player, they can call someone up from the minors.

He isn't a good outfielder or a productive hitter. Once Villar is up, we have both Sogard and Perez who can fill in at 2nd/3rd/SS. Perez can also be a backup outfielder. Franklin is a waste of a roster spot.
