Why would you even think the latter?

I read some posts that would consider trading him for a starter. I think that's crazy.

So no rumors from the Brewers but coming here too much can get into my head.

Knew it right off the bat. Those are the fun ones. Adds to it they shut up a NY crowd that was expecting to get out of that inning unscathed. I'd say they were quite scathed.

There's no chance they do it. He is a starter, soon, and will be one for a long time. They're not going all-in on season two of an almost total strip down. They take what they can get, and if they make win now trades, they'll be w/ minimal investment. Hader is literally the last guy I'd trade on this team. If there's a future weakness, it's questions in the rotation/finding an ace. There's Burnes, but he's a ways away, and can't put all the eggs in virtually one basket.

Michael Kay keeps saying ribbies. Is that a New York thing?

Hader's arm angle helps him a lot. Not really over powering. He really needs to work on his second and third pitches or he is the type that would be lit up the second time thru the order IMO. I'm not ripping on the guy, but we've all seen it happen with some of those lefty's

We make everything look extremely difficult in the field.

There isn't a pitcher on the market that I'd move Hader for.

It's probably a safe bet that Judge hits at least two HR's tomorrow with Suter starting. But it doesn't have to cost us the game. It'd be in his best interest to walk NO ONE in front of him, to state the obvious.

I love how Stearns is always mining for no risk talent like Aguilar. Even Thames was pretty low risk given how cheap his contract is.

The production the team is getting out of firstbase is fabulous and it cost the team nothing to get both.

Pina was a throw in to a trade. Vogt a waiver claim.

Two positions after last season ended which looked weak and now are strengths, with nothing expended to do so.

Great asset management huh? Trades Lucroy and Jeffress and gets Brinson, Ortiz (who could be better than Hader), and, Cordell. While getting better production out of the catcher position and losing little in relief (Jeffress had another slip with alcohol and has been pretty bad this year).

Looks like a good trade thus far, but I still have a feeling that Francisco Mejia is going to be a great catcher in this league. I seem to recall that there was a possible iteration of the Indians trade that Luc vetoed where we might have been able to get Frazier and Mejia. Maybe if we gave them Jeffress, too? That would have been an excellent haul.
