Poll up top. Do you believe this team is for real?

Friday Probables: Junior Guerra v. Jordan Montgomery
Saturday Probables: Brent Suter v. Luis Severino
Sunday Probables: Jimmy Nelson v. Masahiro Tanaka

We're heavy dogs tonight (a game I'd consider buying into us because in theory we should crush lefties even though Guerra has been really bad this year...much worse than his numbers) and will be massive underdogs again tomorrow. Taking 1 of the first 2 will be huge before a more even game on Sunday.

I don't want them to be buyers but we're solidly in 1st right now and you see trash Guerra and Suter in there and you kind of understand why they're tempted to check out the starting pitching market.

Almost to the break, first place and widening the lead. The Brewers are turning into a black swan event, and I believe.

I think this Brewers' team is fairly legit, but I fear getting swept in this series (see my post above for reasoning).

Here, let's take a look at Junior Guerra's velocity on his fastball...

Santana completely dogs it on D and it makes it hard to root for him

Guerra doesn't even make the hitter think about it when the count goes full. He just throws the next one nowhere close to the strike zone.

Only appropriate that Hader, who played the Garth role in "Brett's World," comes out after the rain delay.

Game On!

That was a beautiful professional sac fly from Aguilar. 4-4 top of the 6th.

I hope they are auditioning Hader for a starter spot and not for a trade.

That's why MILB pipeline had him ranked as #1 lefty prospect around, after previously oddly being grossly under-ranked coming in at IIRC 14th in the Brewers' system.

Why would you even think the latter?
