Wouldn't it make a lot of sense to replace Davies with Hader/Woodruff?

The Brewers have the most days off in baseball after the break, so they could theoretically improvise a lot for their 5th starter. Guys like Suter, Hader, Blazek, and/or Woodruff could be long relievers who make a few starts and pitch 4-5 innings. Davies would be a long reliever as well. They have some interesting options to use their staff a little differently. I don't know how many options everyone has, but if they continue to call guys up and send them back down, they could almost use their staff like it's the playoffs. They only have two more stretches of 10 or more consecutive games after this one (8/1 - 8/13 and 9/15 - 9/24).

Davies is not a problem though, because of his unparalleled run support.

Sparky thinks we should be willing to trade Arcia because he's the next Escobar (even though he has more hr's this year already than Escobar ever did).

Hader is going to be the GOAT.

The more I think about it, I'm gonna flip out if we trade Hader for any starting pitcher. Dude is a stud.

But I was told Davies doesn't hurt us because of his record, even though it would be even better if he were actually a decent or better starter.

Those are the type of plays from Arcia that are frustrating.

Is Santana Glenn Braggs? I don't remember him much except for power, decent defense, but mental lapses.

Davies is the poster child of why it's all about run support to get a win. He's a dick.

Both can be true. Davies pitching is/probably will be a problem. But realistically because of the anomaly that brewers have scored so much when hes pitched they would have right around the same record with a different pitcher in his spot. But like any fluke anomaly they can't count on that continuing so he's certainly on the chopping block to lose his spot in the rotation.

Cubs blow 8-0 lead, now tied with O's 8-8 in the bottom of the eighth.

Nice win.

Hopefully Knebel can find his curve again. He's been leaning on his fastball a lot lately.

Ten games over .500! :D

Now an Orioles walk off to make that a 6.5 game lead would be very nice.
