I actually miss Sogard, so sick of Villar flailing away up there in the leadoff spot.

You'd think after like 3-4 months of barely hitting above .200, Villar would think about shortening up a bit instead of trying to hit 450 foot home runs on every swing.

Hell of an out by Santana and Vogt - how he held onto that ball? AND, how in the hell does Counsell wait until the 4th line drive hit to get someone up? AND, how in the hell is that someone Scahill? Someone please enlighten me as to how he was kept en lieu of Blazek who has been red hot for 2 months. I hurt.

That just reinforces Counsell thinking it was the right call

That felt like some kind of "confidence building" moment from Counsell there after Scahill sucked yesterday but thankfully it worked out.

Counsell is a former player, he knows when a guy has a night like that he wants to prove himself. Not saying it was the right move but thank god they called that beautiful pitch inside. Could have gone either way

I'm not sure about that send at all. Maybe if it's not Pina running I'm ok with it.

If that's Villar or Braun I'm fine with it but Pina? Seriously?
