Brewers vs Rays: Brandon Woodruff debut

Post#1 » by wichmae » Fri Aug 4, 2017 1:00 pm

I really want to go tonight but dont think I can swing it with how busy I am. I think those who have never watched him pitch are really going to like what they see. First starts generally go really well or really bad. Not much in between. Brandon is older so hopefully the moment doesnt outshine how good he actually is.

I just hope he pitches lol. I would be happy with a quality start but its just nice to see some of the guys starting to come up and get their shots. Man, next year we COULD have Hader (Stearns says they still view him as a starter) Woodruff and maybe even Ortiz/Burnes. Rotation of Nelson, Davies, Anderson, Hader, Woodruff will be a lot of fun to watch grow

I noticed a a starter wasn't listed for the game, so I came here specifically hoping to hear this news.

Woodruff was gonna go yesterday, but Garza was cleared so they pushed him to today.

Brinson down, Susac up
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It'll be nice to have a DH this series. Our offense has been woeful sonce the break but its compounded by the amount of times we've had a pitcher come up in a run scoring opporunity. Maybe its just magnified but it seems like a lot more than normal.

Terrible baserunning decision from Arcia but it works out for a leadoff triple.

The **** was that Domingo? Missed multiple pitches that should've be hammered in a gap somewhere at minimum.
