Hasn't everyone? Though Braun might actually be the only guy I trust to score a runner on third, with less than two outs. It's become a joke at this point; the Brewers leaving runner after runner in scoring position, for failure to even produce a productive "out." It seems that whenever we have a runner on third with less than two outs, the probabilities are: Strikeout - 70%, Popup in foul territory - 20%, and Run scores - 10%.

But at least we hit a lot of homers, right?

Braun is only hitting .182 with RISP. The only regular every day guy who is worse is Thames.

That's fine. But my point remains: When it comes to who I'd trust to be able to drive a run in WITHOUT A HIT, necessarily, he'd still be my top choice. A runner on third with 1 out? I'll take him before anyone else on the team.

BA with RISP? Who cares? The whole team sucks at that.

That isn't true at all though

The WHOLE team does suck at that. Since the break, they are one of the worst hitting teams with RISP.

The Brewers set a team record for consecutive ab's without a hit with RISP after the all-star break, and they've had some pathetic teams in the past. No, they're not terrible at it if you look at their season stats, but since the asb they are beyond horrendous. Good win though. 3.5 games out of 3rd place in the NL.

I hate the fact I can never stay awake long enough to see the ends of west coast games and have to rewatch them the next day.

I assume no moves today? Was hoping Suter would be available in long relief...

We claimed Aaron Brooks from the Cubs and sent him to AAA. Espino also was optioned. Suter had a bullpen session and felt good but haven't heard anything about him being activated.

ETA: I knew we claimed Brooks I just thought he was specifically talking about Suter.

Garza has managed to pitch himself right out of getting that option picked up.

I know he only has a 5 mil option but I just cant f'n stand Garza. I havent disliked a Brewer this much since Suppan.

Yeah it went from his option being picked up as a palatable idea to cut him now in the span of 3-4 starts
