For a guy expected to get dfa in spring jesus has been a nice bat for them.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

8-1 against the steaming piles of **** in the league. 5-8 against teams that are at minimum semi-competent.

I’ve always like Aguilar. I could picture him being a dominant DH in the AL like Big Papi. Another awesome ending to an early season game. Just unreal.

Ejected with only two games left in your season. What immature nut...Grow up and just play.

Was at the game behind home plate. Two of those looked to be gone. If this was July and roof open those are bombs. Ball isn't carrying.

They definitely need to play better against competent teams if they want to be a serious contender.

In a sense it was. Barely getting a piece of the ball that's like 10 inches off the plate kept the at bat going instead of a strike out that occurs probably 90% of the time at minimum on a swing of that pitch.

I agree with you on about everything but I expected the brewers to beat the crap out of the shittyyy teams and hopefully break Even against the contenders. It's playing out as expected. With some breaks and luck they can do damage. Can't you enjoy it while it lasts?

I don't enjoy mediocrity.

I am so excited for when you tell us you were the only one that saw the rough patch of like a 3-6 record coming up in 2 weeks.

Just enjoy it. We all see the same things.

I don't either. I expected an 81-81 season. Still expect it but I'm not going to root against them especially when they win. I did that enough with the goddamn bucks. Now if they are at five hundred at the deadline and start selling the farm I'll be pissed but right now they are taking care of business.

I enjoy 5 game winning streaks regardless of opponents
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Didn't they get walked off against a couple of the good teams so by your scale they have just been unlucky? :)

I all seriousness feasting on bad teams is pretty important in a 162 game season. Especially this year with about a dozen teams tanking. Have to bank the wins when you can.

Yep. Have to beat the crappy teams. Then hope you can split or win some series against good teams.

Doesn’t someone win that Highlander out in right field since Aguilar hit it on a homerun

It’s awesome because they won’t go into a full tank but are still fairly well run for a small market and you’re still **** wasting your time here praying for a 5 year tanking fest starting today.

Speaking of tanking I feel like that strategy has diminishing returns this year with so many teams not trying. A pretty bad team is going to still finish like 12th in the race for the bottom. We saw that a bit this year in the NBA too.
