First meaningful competition in awhile. I expect a 3-1 series loss. I really really hope to be surprised.

Very interesting series, Brewers did pretty well at Wrigley last year.

Hopefully we don't **** the bed like we did a few weeks ago. Would take a split right now if I could.

Thames injury is tough, but bright side is they have depth at 1B, esp if they bring back Choi, and having 2 months off maybe benefits Thames down the stretch this year, whose production nosedived last year after an incredible first month.

I think that this kinda touches on the discussion of roster makeup under Stearns. I had alluded to this idea in the offseason, but I think we're going the Cardinals route. We may not have tanked for Bryant or Correa/Bregman/etc., but we've have great depth on the 40 with more behind it.

Until Nelson comes back or until they deem a few of these other starters ready, there may be some slight scary depth at SP in terms of good pitching, but we are built for withstanding 162 games with MLB talent always ready to go. How we deal with getting more elite pitching for the playoffs or just play the bullpen game in the playoffs if we ever get there will be interesting.

Honestly with the pitching matchups I am expecting a split. Chatwood isnt that good, and Hendricks is basically a better version of Suter. Darvish has been hot ass. Winnable series, keep it rolling! Real chance the game gets PPD tomorrow night, sounds like rain

Fantastic night for TV at least, if the Bucks suck turn on the Brewers and flip to the draft. If the Brewers and Bucks suck, watch the draft. If all the above suck, just go get **** up

It's a day game tomorrow so they should be able to fit it in before the rain.

Hope our luck doesn't run out in this series.

In all seriousness, just don't take a 4 game sweep. 2 wins is fine, anything beyond that is awesome this early in the season.

Unsustainably bad offense against the Cubs, I'm not worried. Although I am worried about Suters start tomorrow
