At some point you can't away with throwing only fastballs to major league hitters. All the curveballs he's thrown have looked pretty good to me, not sure what they are ignoring it.

I kept saying I really like Peralta's stuff all throughout - just has to get past the walks. He was squeezed a bit early. For some reason I like him

How did the Yankees give up on that Cave guy ? He sure the hell looks the part. Lefty with speed and power ? I'd take him

Hader and Jeffress should be All Stars this year.

I've given up on them tanking. I just hope it doesn't come back to bite them when the owner and fan base were willing to go through it for a couple of years and they have enough star power with what they have.

Hader is unbelievable along with the whole pen. What a game.

Side note, kinda sucks for pitchers like Hader to get the win but not also the save in that situation. If another pitcher comes in for the 9th even for 1 out they get the save. I mean he did get the win and save but no credit for the save. Bummer. My fantasy team could have used that lol

They just keep swinging and missing, it's crazy to watch. No one can hit the guy at all

They already have a bunch of talent in the minors and majors. If worry more if the minors didn't have any promising players, however, there aren't many if any you could argue "Elite" prospects in the farm as of now. I'm always in to try to win when you can because prospects don't always work out anyway

Ehhh. Not sure about that.

Dario looks like he wants to hit Augie when he talks.

That arm action on Hader makes that fastball so much harder to hit. It's not like he's throwing 100 out there — it's like 94-96 — but they swing right through it.

They don't have any elite talent/superstars but i think they are extremely deep with solid players. Could use those players to maybe get an elite player at the deadline. they may not be able to protect all of their talent anyway so I think t hey could ship some guys like phillips to a team that's willing to unload a player at the deadline so they can fill a hole.
