Looking up and down that lineup always makes me smile - Stearns is a straight up assassin.

What does it say about the Brewers that no one is talking about the team nationally? Is it a small market thing? Or is it that they were expected to be here?

Small market, we don't really have any big names, and we collapsed last season.

Small market.
Kawhi is a Top 5 NBA player who pretty much refused to play for his team in the playoffs. If he was in NY, BOS, LA, etc. it would’ve been a much bigger deal than it was.
The media loves the coasts and Chicago.

I just find it legitimately interesting that Hader and even Jeffress have received national attention, but no one mentions the team when, yaknow, they're leading the NL.

Knebel has to be a on reasonably short leash when Jeffress and Hader just aren't giving up runs right now. Kind of unique circumstances until those two come back to earth.

Nothing to get upset about. Has no bearing on the standings.
Leave the worrying about media attention to Raptor fans.

I honestly don't mind it at all, to be honest. I hope they stay under the radar until, like, mid-September when people look at the standings and go WTF are the Cubs and Cards?

ESPN+ is basically a second Brewers network at this point. They had 3 or 4 games on there this week and have 2 more next week.

Interesting. I have no idea what ESPN+ is. Does it have its own crew for the games?

How dare anyone suggest that ESPN take away valuable resources tracking when LeBron takes his next dump in order to do a story on the lowly Brewers. Priorities man.

No it just takes a local broadcast and puts it on the app.

Re: Mets @ Brewers Series Thread
i cant even get local people excited.
everyone is worried about a collapse, like last season, and other seasons.
even if the Brewers go 500 the rest of the way,
they will still end up with 88 wins or so
