It's amazing that to this day we still have people thinking Weeks was a bad hitter.

If he was such a good hitter, then why didn't he hit good ?

Why do you think he didn't? He was a slightly above average hitter from 2005-2008. Was a top 40 hitter in the majors from 2009-2011 and was an average hitter for the rest of his Brewers tenure.

The peak was short. You probably want more from a #2 overall pick (although that entire draft was garbage) but he was never a bad hitter.

Anyone else have crackling audio? It's on both my TV and laptop so it's either the broadcast or DirecTV Now.

Ugh, my interest in the FSWI experience they're auctioning off plummeted when Sophia said there'd be a 3rd wheel for the inning you get to spend with her down by the field.

Even the worst years of Weeks, dude still knew how to get on base and always had a pretty respectable OBP.

How long is Counsell/Stearns going to try to make Boone Logan work out? Dude throws meatballs up there.

Has Logan had a clean inning yet this season?

Team really gives off a special vibe, anytime there is a deficit we erase it very quickly. Now it's Hader time and the game might be as good as done

He would, if it was for two innings. Looks like he got the hook for some reason in spite of a quick inning and apparently the scuffling Knebel replacing him. Playing with fire. I don't get it.

JJ for 2 innings would be the best option, but I'm fine with letting Knebel work with a 2 run lead. Maybe he needs a confidence booster

2 run leads in the 9th are not for confidence boosters. 5 run leads or deficits are. We have 3 virtual lights out relievers. Knebel hasn't been one this year. Secure the win in the game you're in then worry about tomorrow. We may well not need our best relievers because the game isn't close.

I think Counsell has an excess of faith in Knebel because of last season. But we know the run for closers can be short. He should have to earn the trust back in lower-importance roles.
