Man, our starting pitching really stinks. Boone Logan stinks. Not really a fan of Knebel pitching in high leverage spots given his shoddy ST and his erratic performances to date. BUT, man, I’m pretty much tickled pink about everything else.

I guess one more complaint for me would be Eric Sogard. How has he earned anything over Arcia?

Always nervous about facing the Cards. Prove me wrong and that things have changed.

We could be 30 games over .500 and I would still expect everything to go wrong against the Cardinals.

It's crazy that we're 14 games over with the best record in the NL and I look at those projected pitching matchups and wonder how the hell we are going to win any of them.

That's because the last time we played the Cardinals when we were 30 games over .500 we had Kotsay dicking around in CF and Marcum giving up dingers like current Chase Anderson and Corey Knebel.

Oh, there it is. 8-)

I feel that way literally every series. Like, how in the royal f***?!? Then we trot out Logan and Knebel and we still maintain the best bullpen era. How is it all possible?!?

Why would you leave Logan out? Like, why in the f*** leave Knebel alone out to pasture. That’s not fair!

Good they moved braun down to 5.... but him playing over domingo is **** dumb.

I recall us not being able to do anything against Weaver last season so not excited for this one.

Nothing like making an out on a 3-0 pitch that was a probably ball 4. Take your walk Aguilar and get Shaw up there with a man on.

What is up with him pretending to make a 3-point jumpshot with his helmet after grounding out?

There's something incredible about watching a guy blow an 88 mph fastball past big league hitters just using good location.

Braun with two nice pieces of hitting already today, dives back to first one time on a pick off throw and grabs at the back his leg. Seems to be ok but I had to laugh.

That was an incredible at bat from Suter but Sedar is on drugs for sending Saladino all the way from first on that.
