By the way, what's up with all of these 3:10 starts during the week? I get it on a holiday (like July 4), but other than that, scheduling a game on a weekday during the work hours seems like a dumb idea that depresses attendance.

Probably an assumption that a fair amount of people are taking the majority of this week off for work.

I, for one, am ready and anxious for the Nate Orf party to begin.

Tons of people take this week off, and with the huge lakefront fireworks show tomorrow night the Tuesday afternoon start makes sense.

Jesus **** christ Sedar.

LF misplays the ball momentarily and the human windmill sends Aguilar when the LF is winding up to make a throw home as Aguilar is rounding 3rd.

The lack of replays shown at Miller Park is a **** joke. He was out but I'd like to see the whole play again. Nope

Shaw has been a bucket of ass lately. I dread when I see him up in a key spot. We may look back at that as the pivotal moment in the game.

Or leaving Suter in a batter or two too long. You could see that coming. It was his typical collapse at the end of outings where the fastball gets even weaker, he gets further from the plate or they leak out over it, and he gets hit hard. Gotta think that's the end of the questionable experiment from the beginning. Woodruff pitched tonight and I think will take his place in the rotation next scheduled start, hopefully for good. Should have made that move a long time ago.

It's a bolstering of propaganda efforts. The tradition of playing the national anthem at MLB games/sporting events started in the 1910's as part of Woodrow Wilson's Committee on Public Info who was trying to convince citizens to support WW1.

Miller got lucky right there. Imagine if he would have botched the rundown for his 3rd error of the inning. Might have needed security to escort him to his vehicle.

I'll take that from Shaw. He didn't try to do too much w/ <2 outs and the bases loaded that time.
