Jacob Barnes last 7 games:
5.2 ip
10 h
5 bb
7 k
2.65 whip
12.71 era
SOLIDI believe he and Zagurski have been training hard together. Keep it up, boys.

Have a feeling there will be some more RP moves soon. QTC time is coming.

Remember when everyone thought Jennings was garbage because he was put into bad situations (garbage games)/had some bad luck over a handful of innings?
I don't think Barnes is anything special, but it's 6 innings of work so let's give it time.
Zagurski's existence was to get a handful of lefties out this past week, which he failed at and then was allowed to get feasted on by righties when the games got out of hand.

Was surprised to learn today Anderson opponent batting average was 4th in the majors.
That gives some hope, at least for rest of season. But short start = Corbin Burnes tonight?

To be honest, that should give pessimism. There are definitely things pitchers can do to induce weak contact, but nobody's going to hold a .207 BABIP. He's probably lucky to have the ERA he has right now. The Brewers' defense does probably help him quite a bit.

Did they seriously just go back to back off Hader?

A week off for Hader might not have been the best thing for his rhythm.

At bat showed what looked like a missed strike three call before Castro homered.
