Brewers playing three games in 24 hours. Yikes. Hopefully we get some long starts because that'll tax the hell out of our bullpen.

The pessimism is realistic. team is on the road, just played 2 extra inning games out of the last 3, they are kind of banged up, it's about to the be the all star break. 2-3 is not an unreasonable expectation.

Wade Miley and Erik Kratz ... dumb battery pitching to Mercer with two guys and two outs in two consecutive at-bats!

The result? Two RBI singles ... pitch around the dude and pitch to the pitcher in these situations. This is DUMB ball!

I think that was the plan, Mercer just hit a breaking ball off the plate.
