Giants at Crew Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Sep 7, 2018 2:52 pm

Friday - 7:10 - Holland vs. Anderson

Saturday - 6:10 - Stratton vs. Gonzalez

Sunday - 1:10 - Bumgarner vs. Davies
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Keep winning series and we should hang onto that top wild card spot.

Side note - do you realize if we played in the AL we’d be 5 games out of the WC right now!! Effing Insane how good the the AL is at the top this year.

The Yankees might win 100 games and finish 10 games out of their division.

The AL does have some dominant teams on top but the fact that 60% of it is tanking doesn't hurt their records.

Probably not far off of 2015 when the Brewers, Phillies, Marlins, Braves, Reds, Rockies, Padres all either collapsed on their own or tanked on purpose and you got a Wild Card game of 98 wins vs. 97 wins.

Yea you have to consider how 'bad' the bottom teams are in the AL as well. Definitely the best teams in the AL.

I don't even know why Yelich acknowledged the people on twitter.

Cue the ‘mental midget’ comments.

I’m sure it’s frustrating. But then you should just stay off Twitter. It’s a cesspool.

Edit - honest question, do teams have therapists or psychiatrists on staff? If not they should at least have someone on retainer.

That was another extremely disciplined AB by Schoop. Good eye.

Perez has hit well lately but I swear I've not seen it.

And another homer given up from Anderson.

I really do not care for Perez's approach at the plate. Another free and easy swinger who swings at everything. If I had a nickel for every self-induced 0-2 count this season, I'd probably have $3.

Wait, Schoop struck out again? With men in scoring position? No wait. He swung at ball four in his midsection? Get out of here.

Perez struck out with the bases loaded. I am befuddled. These guys are hitters' hitters!

I blinked and Schoop had already swung at 1000 pitches.
